With the Christmas season fast approaching, I like to begin brainstorming craft ideas for my kids. We use these specials crafts as gifts for family, friends and any teachers in my children's lives. I also enjoy planning fun outings, games, and activities for my children as a way to meaningfully experience this advent season.
For Family
This year we will be attempting a "fork painting" craft. We will making a total of 11 (including one for our house).
- 1. Using a fork, dip into yellow, orange, and/or brown paint to create "hay."
- 2. Glue on baby image
- 3. Optional: add a short note on the back. ex. "Merry Christmas from The Jebo Girls - 2025." (I like to type the note out and print as many as I need to glue on the back)

For Friends & Sunday School Teachers
I am looking forward to this simple (hopefully not messy), craft. We will be making a total of 16 (including one for our house)
- 1. Create your own template of light bulbs (without the bulbs). (template coming soon)
- 2. Using dot paints (circular stamps, paint brushes, or your fingers), add colored lights to the paper.
- 3. Optional: add a short note on the back. ex. "Merry Christmas from The Jebo Girls - 2025" (I like to type the note out and print as many as I need to glue on the back)

BONUS: Ornaments... for Grandparents and your own tree!
As each of our children experienced their first Christmas, I made a simple ornament to remember the occasion. I (with no help from my children) have since created ONE ornament of all three girls to commemorate Christmas. In the past I've down the following...

This year, sine I now have a laminator, I am attempting the "Snow Globe," which looks like this: (I will be making 6 including one for our tree).
