- 1. Four months ago Jeremy Camp re-released his popular song in collaboration with Skillet. You'll want to rock out!
- 2. I stumbled upon Avi Kaplan's music. He was the bass vocalist for the cappella group Pentatonix. His music is very soulful. So far I've enjoyed this song.
- 3. Many of you may be familiar with Max McNown song "Better Me for You (Brown Eyes)." Last month he released this new vulnerable song.
- 4. I keep coming back to Josiah Queen and really enjoyed this one from last year.
Books
- 1. Next on my bookshelf, I picked up and dusted off this book I've had since high school. I don't remember reading it, but I found highlight underlines in the first two chapters. I wish my younger-self had kept reading it! How I needed to hear those wise words about choosing safe friends – especially how to BE a safe person. Regardless, I read it now and gleaned helpful information for my current friendships.

2. 2. My second book this month that I finished was listening to The Hobbit. When I listen to stories, I like keeping my hands busy with a quiet activity like coloring. I recently tried embroidery and "diamond painting" - think color-by-number but with tiny diamonds.

For Fun
- 1. Lids - While looking for a pot lid for one of our larger frying pans, I was informed about this Universal One! Our girl's great grandma loves it, so we're giving it a try.
- 2. Kick A** - Whenever my friend or her kids feel a tickle in their throats, she immediately turns to this (there is also a "Kick Butt" version for kids). We tried it last week. While it tastes gross, we didn't get sick after one of our kids had a bad cold. We just mixed it with collagen powder or an electrolyte pack to hide the taste.
- - When we're sick we also double-up on doTERRA's OnGuard Soft Gels and PB Restore ProBiome Complex. Along with going to bed early and less sugar.
- 3. Cards - While I like to make my own cards, it's nice to have some pretty stationary on-hand. I replenished my stash with these.
