We love books! It is especially fun to change out our basket of books for each season. We've found some great lists from various websites. One of our favorites is from Treehouse Schoolhouse. A simple Pinterest search will also uncover a plethora of seasonal book recommendations.
Here's a highlight of some of the books we enjoy during the fall season. Click each photo to take you directly to purchase/view.
We utilize our local library to access books that are available. I record myself reading our favorites and then add them to our ever growing "Library" Yoto card that we made ourselves.
While these picture books are mostly story-based and fun, there are numerous picture books that simply share basic educational facts alongside beautiful illustrations. Our favorite author for these types of books is Gail Gibbons. She has books covering all sorts of fun fall themes such as:
