Yoto Cards
My oldest thoroughly enjoys listening to her Yoto player during her quiet time. We currently have 16 cards including some directly made by Yoto, some using Yoto Card's MYO option, and some my brilliant husband created from a plain NFC card from Amazon.
To make your own NFC cards that are suitable for a Yoto Player, follow the step-by-step instructions found on the blog linkbelow.
We have been slowly adding audiobooks to our Yoto Card collection. Ones that we cannot find, I will be reading and recording myself. I do this already with any library books our girls enjoy – I place all the stories onto one Yoto Card for the girls to access.
Here is an assorted list of stories we have either purchased from Yoto or found the audiobook for.
- • Bible Stories from Kaleidoscope (We have "Living Water - Gospel of John")
- • Beatrix Potter Complete Collection (found HERE)
- • Corduroy Collection
- • Frog and Todd Collection (found HERE)
- • Winnie the Pooh Collection (foundHERE)
- ○ We have the card from Yoto and it is very well made with music too.

There are several more audiobooks that we will wait until the girls are older to add. Stories like the Magic Treehouse, Little Women, and the Phantom Tollbooth. Yoto keeps adding more cards to their selection so we will not have any shortage of audiobooks from their site and others.
I stumbled upon a wonderful article that throughly lists quality Yoto Cards found on the Yoto website, along with other resources that can be easily added to a MYO (Make Your Own) Card that are kid-friendly.
The Yoto Player has been a great resource for our family. We currently only have one mini player which our oldest uses with headphones during quiet time. As the younger two become more capable to appropriately operate the player, the plan is for each girl to have their own mini player, while sharing the cards.
See below for our favorite accessories to pair with the Yoto payer.
Happy Listening!
